Hi friends!

Today, I want to tell you a little bit more about our new shop! There are 3 super helpful items to help you with your planning:

  1. The Comprehensive Planning Checklist
  2. “Don’t Forget” List
  3. A Guide to Writing Your Personalized Ceremony

Here’s the down low!

THE COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING TO-DO CHECKLIST

Who is it for? This list is for those of you working with me or not. If you are working with me, you won’t need it if you’ve booked full planning service, but you will find it helpful if you have any other service.

What’s in it?

  • It includes everything from how to organize a vendor spreadsheet to reminding your groom to get his hair cut
  • It sticks to the details about your wedding day in particular, but adds a few reminders about your rehearsal dinner as well
  • It’s a PDF, so to use it well, it’s best to print, put it someplace handy and cross off as you go
  • As a gift to you for purchasing it, if you have a question along the way, ask away!

How is it organized? The 8 page checklist is categorized by months, meaning months away from your wedding. Know that the months are a guideline and that many tasks can be completed at different times.

Why? I believe you need a place to start. I also believe in lists- I always have a list going! I believe in them because I think they help keep us focused and organized. It’s important to keep track of what’s been done and what still needs attention. Looking at your planning journey as a big picture can also help you delegate and find out what’s important to your values.

"DON'T FORGET" LIST

Who is it for? This is for those of you aren’t working with me in any capacity. (Those of you who are working with me will receive a copy).

What’s in it? It has those pesky little things that are easy to overlook, like a place for coats if you’re wedding is in the shoulder seasons or salt and pepper on your guest tables.

How is it organized? It’s broken up into categories associated to your day, for example, rehearsal, getting ready, the ceremony, etc.

Why? Even if we aren’t working together, your day is important to me! I may not know you, but I believe in love and celebrating it! Love is the kind of thing that can bring you senseless smiles. I think it can help build our character because it brings on kindness, silliness, romance, and so much more. I think it challenges us to be better people. Celebrating that is so important to me and I don’t want you to miss anything in your planning!

A GUIDE TO WRITING YOUR PERSONALIZED CEREMONY

Who is it for? This list is for those of you working with me (in any capacity) or not working with me because I just can’t write your ceremony for you. It’s for couples who are writing their own script and having a friend or family member officiate.

What’s in it?

  • This is broken into 3 parts: the order, the bones of a script, advice for your officiant if it’s a friend or family member
  • As a gift to you for purchasing it, if you have a question along the way, ask away!
  • In the order section, it offers ideas for rituals to include, such as a sand ceremony, or common readings, like the Apache wedding blessing. It’s my hope that these offer you inspiration to find those pieces that are a perfect fit for you!

How is it organized? It’s organized by the 3 parts: the order, the bones of a script, advice for your officiant if it’s a friend or family member

Why? For me, the ceremony is the most important part to your wedding day. With more and more couples asking friends and family to officiate, I am noticing that things are getting overlooked, like handing over a bouquet or actually passing the rings. I don’t want anything to be missed during your ceremony and I want it to flow smoothly for you!
