Thunder rolled in, the skies opened up and it poured on Brynn and GP’s wedding day. But not the way you think. It may have had us all worried, but it lasted a short 20 minutes and instead of waiting out the storm, the sky cleared right as the ceremony was supposed to begin. The day turned beautiful and guests were able to fully enjoy the ocean view from GP’s childhood home before heading to Live Well Farm to enjoy the rest of the evening, equipped with great food options and a contra dance music.
As I was looking back through their photos, I found myself laughing as I recalled one of the toasts, given by one of Brynn’s best friends. Not only did she talk about how good looking her two friends were, but she suggested that she had been really curious about what their daughter Chase, would look like before she was born. As you’ll see in the photos, she literally took their features and combined them for some really entertaining images! I’ve never witnessed newlyweds laugh quite so hard.
Another very special part of their day was the singing. GP had been part of an a capella group and these guys left quite the memory behind. There were two songs. The first, Song For You and the second, Save Tonight. GP stole the show in Save Tonight as he not only sung to all his friends and family, but his beautiful bride. He added a lot of his own lyrics, making it for perfect to the day.
These two, along with their very sweet daughter had such a great night and their family was so proud to be behind them. Oh and take a look at those Patrick Dempsey photos that were hung about at some point in the evening!
